The Parenting Pyramid® poster is a visual used by the Group Leader with parent participants to show the sequence of topics covered in the parent program. It provides a representation for building a strong foundation by beginning with the bottom of the pyramid, which concentrates on the positive affect, building a strong relationship with the children, and promoting children’s social competence, emotional literacy and cooperative behaviors. The Pyramid poster is referred to at each group meeting to give the parents a sense of where they are in the program, what they have already learned, and what is still to come.
