Neurons text indicates methods by which parents can strengthen neural connections in their babies for building social relationships, language and cognitive development, and emotional development. These posters can be used by group leaders to explain the many ways parents are helping the development of their baby’s brain. Since babies have over 10 billion neurons at birth, each of which can make 100,000 connections, parents play an important role in strengthening the most important connections that will last over time.
