The Preschool Parenting Program 2.0 (Basic) is an updated version of Incredible Years’ classic Preschool Parenting Program, designed for professionals leading parenting groups. This enhanced curriculum provides facilitators with structured sessions that help parents strengthen parent-child interactions, foster secure attachment, and reduce harsh discipline. Through guided discussions and practice exercises, parents develop skills to support their children’s social, emotional, and language development, as well as build school readiness. Facilitators use real-life video vignettes to spark group discussions, encourage problem-solving, and reinforce key parenting strategies. The program also emphasizes collaboration with teachers and daycare professionals to support children’s emotional regulation and social skills.
